What to Expect

When you join, you will receive:

  • A weekly lesson

    • Every Wednesday, the lesson of the week with be posted. Access it whenever it is convenient for you. The lessons include:

      • a video or reading material to provide the psychological framework for the activity (usually 5-10 minutes in total), and

      • an exercise or worksheet to be completed throughout the week.

  • Access 24/7 to our classroom space, to ask questions, troubleshoot situations in your life, and get personalized support and feedback from your therapist instructor (me!), and your fellow classmates. 

  • On Saturdays, there will be a reflection or check in prompt to be completed at your convenience.

  • This is an ongoing program, meaning you will continuously be enrolled until you cancel. Why? Because mental health is not a “one and done”, it requires a consistent practice to maintain development and sustain changes.

  • All participants also get FREE lifetime membership to the 4C Learning Hub, for exclusive access to other classes, resources, and mental health information and tools.

Frequently asked questions

  • All classes are taught in our learning hub. You will be asked to create an account in the learning hub, and will then land in our small group space which contains discussion boards and a welcome message. You can start participating immediately. You will receive notifications when new content is available.

  • No. Content is shared and can be accessed anytime. Discussion boards also allow you to ask questions and get feedback on your own situation. Response times in discussion boards are generally within minutes, but definitely within 24 hours.

  • Good question! When you create your account, you will be asked for first name, last name, and email. Only 4C staff will see your email. For your name, we recommend using first name and last initial. You can also edit your profile settings at any time, depending on what you want to be displayed to fellow classmates.

  • After the 6 week class, you will receive a badge on your profile indicating completion. You can also request a certificate from your instructor.

  • This is an ongoing program. You can stay as long as you like! There is new material every week in this specific class for 6 weeks, but there are many other classes running throughout the month. Like going to the gym, growth and sustained strength comes from continuous work.

  • I am a licensed therapist, but this is not therapy in the traditional sense. This is a class that teaches psychological principles, and helps you apply them to your life. It is meant to be educational for personal growth.

  • You must be age 16+ and have a valid email address.

  • Enrolling in the 6 week class, then unlimited access to all classes for the lifetime of your membership is $4.99/month. This is a fraction of the cost of therapy, and you will receive unlimited access to tools, worksheets, resources, and supports.

  • Upcoming classes include "CBT for Negative Self-Talk", as well as classes on stress reduction, and communication.

  • While we do not offer private session, per se, there are plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get support on whatever you are dealing with, both in message boards and in 1:1 chat.
