When life feels overwhelming, we often focus on what’s wrong or stressful. Solution-focused therapy (SFT) encourages us to shift attention to what’s working—those small, positive moments that often go unnoticed.
“The Best Moment Scan" is a simple 30-second exercise to help you quickly identify strengths and sources of hope in your life. Or scroll down to watch the 3 minute guided exercise video.

How to Do It:
  1.   Pause and Reflect: Think about the past 24 hours.
  2.   Ask Yourself: What was the best moment of my day?
  3.   Identify Why It Stood Out: Was it peaceful? Energizing? Joyful?
  4.   Anchor It: Take a deep breath and visualize that moment. Notice how it makes you feel and remind yourself that positive experiences—no matter how small—can grow with your focus.
This quick exercise trains your brain to notice the good, empowering you to approach challenges with a strengths-based mindset.
When you feel better, you do better.Â
